Frankie (he/him) has been practicing massage therapy since 2011. He studied at the Center for Massage and Natural Health in Asheville, NC and have continued their studies in a variety of modalities. Frankie incorporates elements of these techniques including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Craniosacral, Thai massage, and more. With each massage, Frankie tries to create a nurturing space that’s conducive to healing and restoration.
Frankie has an affinity for giving bodywork to his fellow trans people. He believes that the way a therapist views their client has an underlying impact, and knows the importance of being seen by someone with an understanding of gender diversity. He has experience working on people post-top surgery, loosening scar tissue and relaxing the chest muscles. One of his intentions with bodywork is to help increase the mind-body connection, which can ease body dysphoria that many people live with.
